This skating rink was constructed in 1908 by the local streetcar company, the Helena Light & Railway Co. It was located about 1000' northeast of the Broadwater Natatorium.

The rink was created after the devastating floods of June 1908 necessitated blowing up a dam on Ten Mile Creek, just on the north side of the Broadwater Hotel, which was used to flood an area for skating.

Newspaper mentions of the rink as a going concern appear to end in 1914..
